The Transwaiian will be one of the world’s most inspiring and toughest ultra-trail race. The race will take ultra trail runners to the top of the Mauna Kea, a unique Volcano on the Big Island in Hawaii. Most of the course will be at high altitude and the weather could change from Rain Forest to snow at the summit of the Mauna kea at 4.207 meters.
